You can download the new Apophysis 2.08 "3D hack" at SF.net
This version includes all v2.08 features like xaos and the updated plugin engine, plus there is a couple of (unobvious) changes, mostly about using different file and/or folder names. The only thing you should worry about is that it uses "Plugins3D" instead of just "Plugins" for the plugins folder, so you can have normal Apo and Apo3D installed in the same directory, while having a different set of plugins.
