these are still gobsmacking amazing. im starting to get a tinsy winsy bit closer now but i think what is hampering me now is getting the texture feel to it. I've tried all sorts of gradients but im thinking its not there. Really I would love to work the rest of it out myself but ...................... arrrghgghh do the tut pleeeeessseee ;p :rofl: :clap:

no tutorial for now, sorry - got to finish 2.03c and run away :sprint:

the "texture" if I understand you correctly is formed by the pattern itself - if you make your fractal to fill the plane by tiling, then you can add small triangles which will spawn a (small) copy of the entire fractal...
