Another attempt to transform a test-render into a work of art :confused:

My version of "octahedron" plugin that I made more than year ago turned out to be quite useless, so I didn't even release it :| But finally it looks like I found some use for an octahedron sliced in half :slow:

P.S. Maybe I should say that this was created using "Apophysis 2.08 3D hack", but I won't :p because it doesn't use any new v2.08 features like xaos, even Julia here is flat (that is not-so-3D)... :o

:D this is too cool, i wouldent mind seeing a little more black and blue in some areas :meow: but over all i love how gem like it looks ^_^

The part in the upper right hand corner looks very much like a bat. A crystalized bat, tee hee. Quite nice, fractals are something are rarely explore, but every time I am no less than amazed.
